MULTIPLE TESTS ON ONE SYSTEM

The EnSURE™ system is designed to be used for multiple quality and food safety tests. Users can use the system for ATP hygiene monitoring or have an expanded program that incorporates rapid microorganism tests for environmental monitoring and finished product testing. Additional tests for pasteurization and cooking proficiency are also available.

WORK MORE EFFECTIVELY

When you set up your monitoring program, you will determine where and when testing should occur. The EnSURE™ makes it easy to manage all your test locations by storing up to 251 locations in an organized group called a Test Plan. When you’re ready to test, simply select the Test Plan that corresponds to the area, equipment, or day, and the EnSURE™ will bring up all the locations you need to test in that plan.

IMPROVED TECHNOLOGY

EnSURE™ uses a state-of-the-art Photodiode sensor technology that enables superior sensitivity and stability over bulky Photomultiplier Tube (PMT) sensors. This tiny sensor allows our device to be smaller, lighter, more durable, and longer lasting than systems using a large, fragile PMT sensor.

CALIBRATION & CONTROL

Built in sensor checks and a Calibration Control Kit sold separately make verifying calibration effortless. Simply turn on the self-check feature and every time the system is powered on, calibration will be confirmed. With the internal self-check and the calibration kit, you’ll always be confident the system is within specifications. In addition, you’ll avoid costly and inconvenient yearly calibration charges that other manufacturers require.

POSITIVE CONTROL KIT

Positive control kit is used for validating the performance of ATP test devices. The test consists of 25 sealed glass vials containing lyophillized adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to provide predicatble positive results.

COLLAPSIBLE SWAB EXTENDERS

Collapsible swab extenders allow users to reach around tall, tight or large equipment. The tip of the extender fits a Hygiena swab and an easy-release latch releases the swab after collection. The telescoping swab collapses for convenient storage. Extenders are available in 48 inches or 13 feet.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

AquaSnap™ Total (AQ100) measures both free ATP in solution and microbial ATP. The device contains a detergent to release ATP that is bound to microbial or organic matter and inside microbes. AquaSnap™ is easy to use, economical, and gives real time results. The specifically designed dipper tip collects 100 µl of water ensuring consistent sample collection.

AquaSnap™ Free (AQ200) measures ATP that is free in solution. The difference between Total and Free ATP provides a measure of microbial contamination in the sample.

ATP Surface Test (US202)

UltraSnap™ is a user-friendly, all-in-one ATP sampling test used with Hygiena luminometers. This pen-sized sample collection device is easy to use, small, and environmentally friendly. In addition, UltraSnap™ uses a unique liquid-stable reagent providing superior accuracy, longer-lasting signal strength, and more reproducible results.

The Next Level of ATP Detection (SUS3000)

SuperSnap™ is the most sensitive ATP surface test in Hygiena’s portfolio of all-in-one devices. Designed to work with all Hygiena luminometers, SuperSnap detects extremely low levels of ATP so it can be used as an allergen cross-contamination prevention tool or when dealing with harsh samples. By incorporating SuperSnap™ into a prevention program, risks and issues are recognized in real time and immediate corrective actions can be implemented before product change-overs.

Indicator Organism Tests

The new MicroSnap™ platform bridges the time gap between ATP and bacterial culture results with convenient, 8-hour or less tests for E. coli, Coliform, Enterobacteriaceae, and TVC. MicroSnap™ tests are read by the EnSURE™ monitoring system and results are recorded with SureTrend software.

E.coli (MS-ECOLI)

MicroSnap™ E.coli is a rapid test for detection and enumeration of E.coli bacteria. The test uses a novel bioluminogenic test reaction that generates light when enzymes that are characteristic of E. coli bacteria react with specialized substrates to produce light. The light generating signal is then quantified in the EnSURE™ luminometer. Results are available in 8 hours or less, depending upon required level of detection. Single figure organisms can be detected in 8 hours, enabling MicroSnap™ E.coli to give results in the same working day or shift.

Coliform (MS-COLIFORM)

MicroSnap™ Coliform is a rapid test for detection and enumeration of Coliform bacteria. The test uses a novel bioluminogenic test reaction that generates light when enzymes that are characteristic of Coliform bacteria react with specialized substrates to produce light. The light generating signal is then quantified in the EnSURE™ luminometer. Results are available in 8 hours or less, depending upon required level of detection. Single figure organisms can be detected in 8 hours, enabling MicroSnap™ to give results in the same working day or shift.

Enterobateriaceae (MS-EB)

MicroSnap™ Enterobacteriaceae is a rapid test for detection and enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae (EB) bacteria. The test uses a novel bioluminogenic test reaction that generates light when enzymes that are characteristic of EB bacteria react with specialized substrates to produce light. The light generating signal is then quantified in the EnSURE™ luminometer. Results are available in 6 – 8 hours, enabling MicroSnap™ to give results in the same working day or shift.

Total Viable Count (MS-TOTAL)

MicroSnap™ Total delivers TVC test results in 7 hours, giving you the advantage of knowing microbial levels on the same day samples are collected. The test uses a novel bioluminogenic test reaction that generates light when enzymes that are characteristic of viable bacteria react with substrates to produce light. The light generating signal is then quantified with the EnSURE™ luminometer. MicroSnap™ Total’s same-day results enable you to take corrective actions faster or release products sooner.

MicroSnap™ Listeria spp species is a rapid test for detection and enumeration of Listeria spp. The test uses a novel bioluminogenic test reaction that generates light when enzymes that are characteristic of Listeria species bacteria react with specialized substrates to produce light. The light generating signal is then quantified in the EnSURE™ luminometer. Results are available in less than 24 hours, enabling MicroSnap™ Listeria spp. to give results overnight.

MicroSnap™ L mono is a rapid test for detection and enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes. The test uses a novel bioluminogenic reaction that generates light when enzymes that are characteristic of L. mono bacteria react with specialized substrates to produce light. The light generating signal is then quantified in the EnSURE™ luminometer.

Process Efficiency Tests

Acid Phosphatase (CX-100)

CrossCheck™ measures acid phosphatase activity, a natural enzyme present in raw meat. The test may be used on finished products to verify thermal processing or on food contact surfaces to measure raw meat residues and cross contamination hazards.

Alkaline Phosphatase (ZS-ALP-100)

ZymoSnap™ measures alkaline phosphatase activity in dairy products to verify pasteurization efficiency. The test may be used to verify pasteurization of milks, creams, flavored milks, and other milk products.
